Neal Gittleman

  Neal Gittleman was chosen to be music director of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra in December 1994 and took over as conductor at the beginning of the 1995-96 season. Gittleman succeeded Isaiah Jackson.
  In 1997 the Philharmonic's board of trustees extended Gittleman's contract for three years, to May 2001.
