    1997 series and special reports:

    Jan. 12, 1997 -- A "Military Secrets" report by Russell Carollo, Jeff Nesmith and Elliot Jaspin reveals that the U.S. Army consistently treated rape as a lesser crime warranting relatively light punishment compared to that of civilian courts. The report was based on an analysis of a once-secret computer database of Army prosecutions for sexual offenses.

    Three-part series by Mary McCarty. The series looks at people on welfare in rural counties and how their lives may be affected by welfare reform measures passed by Congress.
